While the Australians weren't able to notch a first-ever win over Canada or earn a WJLC medal for the first time, they did produce their highest goal total ever in a tournament game. They were led by a 4 Goal outburst from transition player Austin Longstaff, along with big nights from Luke Spivey (3 G, 5 A) and Orlando Kernaghan (3 G, 3 A).
